WHERE WE ARE
Ideal for a relaxing vacation in a rural environment, Libiola is a small country village situated on the left bank of the
Poriver, along the oeno-gastronomical route "la strada del riso e dei risotti mantovani".
The "EuroVelo" Po 2s EV8 Mediterranean Route (from Cadiz to Athens) runs nearby, joining several other cycling
routes, among which the EV7 Middle Europe Route (from Cape North to Malta).

WHAT TO DO
It is also possible to take a boat trip along the river to the Parco del Mincio and the lakes. The service, originating
at Mantua or Revere calls at Sacchetta di Sustinente, which is a mere 2km from Libiola.
Only 6 km away, you'll find the "paludi di Ostiglia" and "Isola Boschina" wildlife sanctuaries, important places
for bird-watching.
In the village of Libiola, a horse-riding centre organizes horseback excursions in the area.
The region offers plenty of restaurants and trattorie where you can enjoy the local produce and excellent cuisine.

WHAT TO SEE
Mantova (22 km away) is the most famous town to visit in the area. Worth a visit are also Revere, Ostiglia,
Pieve di Coriano, Santuario della Comuna, Sustinente, S.Benedetto Po, Gonzaga, Pegognaga. All are within easy
reach on a pleasant cycling trip.

By car: Motorway A22 exit Mantova sud direzione Ostiglia-Ferrara.
S.S. Ostigliese località Libiola.
Train: route Bologna-Verona, Ostiglia station. Possibility to arrange a car pick-up to and from Ostiglia station.
